The Quick Flow School of Health Phlebotomy Refresher Program is designed for individuals who have previously completed a phlebotomy training program within the past five years and want to refresh, strengthen, and update their phlebotomy skills.

Whether you are returning to the healthcare field, preparing to seek employment, or simply want additional hands-on practice, this 3-day, in-person refresher program provides an opportunity to review essential phlebotomy concepts and sharpen your hands-on technique in a supportive learning environment.

Who Is This Program For?

This program is ideal for individuals who:
• Have completed a phlebotomy training program within the past 4 years
• Want to refresh previously learned phlebotomy skills
• Need additional hands-on practice and confidence
• Are preparing to return to work as a phlebotomy professional
• Want to strengthen their venipuncture technique and patient-care skills

This is a refresher program and is not intended for individuals with no prior phlebotomy training.

What You’ll Review

Students will have the opportunity to refresh key areas of phlebotomy, including:

• Venipuncture techniques
• Capillary collections
• Patient identification and preparation
• Proper tube selection and order of draw
• Specimen collection and handling
• Infection control and safety
• Proper use of phlebotomy equipment
• Common venipuncture challenges
• Professional patient interaction
• Laboratory safety and best practices
• Hands-on practice in a lab environment

Tuition Includes:

• NHA certification
• Books and educational materials
• Lab coat
• 12 clock hours of instruction
• Hands-on laboratory training
• Phlebotomy skills refresher instruction

Student Responsibility

Black scrubs are required and are not included in tuition. Students are responsible for purchasing their own black scrubs prior to the start of the program.
