Wound Care Technician Program

At Quick Flow School of Health is a 6-week, hands-on training course designed to prepare allied health professionals to safely and effectively assist with wound care in hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics, and home health settings.

This comprehensive program provides 48 Clock hours of in-depth training, including:

  • Skin anatomy & wound healing principles
  • Wound assessment & measurement
  • Infection control and aseptic technique
  • Dressing types, selection, and application
  • Pressure injury staging
  • Diabetic, venous, arterial, and traumatic wounds
  • Hands-on wound care simulations using wound mannequins
  • Realistic patient scenarios & documentation practice

Students will train in a true clinical-skills environment, using wound mannequins, practice pads, sterile technique supplies, and real-world case studies to develop confidence and competency.

Although wound care technicians work under the supervision of licensed nurses and providers, they play a vital role in patient healing. This course equips students with the knowledge, professionalism, and hands-on skills needed to excel in wound management teams.

Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion in Wound Care Technician Training from Quick Flow School of Health (SCHEV Approved).

โœ” Be at least 18 years old
โœ” Have a high school diploma or GED
โœ” Hold one of the following (no license upload required โ€” just confirmation):

  • CNA
  • Medical Assistant
  • Phlebotomist
  • Patient Care Technician
  • Direct Care Worker
  • Home Health Aide
  • LPN or RN (optional, not required)
    โœ” Be able to perform basic patient care skills
    โœ” Have a valid photo ID
