 Our 6-Week Hybrid EKG Technician Course is designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to perform accurate electrocardiograms in today’s healthcare settings. This flexible program blends online learning with hands-on, in-person training to provide a complete and convenient educational experience.

During the online portion, students will learn core concepts including cardiac anatomy and physiology, electrophysiology, medical terminology, lead placement, rhythm interpretation, patient preparation, and safety standards. Interactive lessons and assignments help students build a strong understanding of both normal and abnormal heart rhythms.

Students attend in-person lab days every Friday, where they practice essential EKG skills such as proper electrode placement, operating EKG equipment, obtaining clear tracings, recognizing artifacts, and performing patient preparation. These sessions ensure each student gains confidence and proficiency under the supervision of experienced instructors.

Upon successful completion of the 6-week program, students will be prepared to sit for a national certification exam and enter the workforce as a skilled EKG Technician. This course is perfect for individuals starting a healthcare career or professionals seeking to expand their clinical skill set.
